A note from the photographer on printing and mounting procedures.
The photographic prints you order are all individually printed and mounted. Actual size may vary 5% during the enlargement and printing process.
Only premium agents, chemicals and printing materials are used.
The printing paper is a premium fiber base paper.
The prints are treated with a selenium-toning agent (when appropriate) and washed in perma-wash prior to a thorough water bath clearing to insure the archival permanence of the print.
The prints are then permanently dry-mounted on bright white, non-buffered 100% museum quality 4 ply rag board.
The appropriate over-mat of the same material is cut and installed for the protection and framing of the print. (8-ply over-mat available as a special order.)
On the back of the archival board, which is a permanent part of the print, I write the subject name, the location, the date the negative was made, the date the print was made and my signature. I also sign the front over-mat.
Thank you.
